 Nooitgedacht Trout Lodge
Three hours to the east of Johannesburg, Nooitgedacht nestles in a
nature reserve in the heart of South Africa's natural wilderness.
Based on an original 1845 farmhouse, the Lodge captures the essence
of country living at its best. The 2,000 hectare estate offers some
of the finest trout fishing in the country, whether on the Spekboom
River or in the three stocked lakes. Soaring eagles and Cape Vultures,
a wealth of flora and fauna, game from leopard to kudu to otters,
all combine to make a memorable experience for guests.
Additional rooms are currently being added to Nooitgedacht and corporate
lodges are being developed in the grounds.
